Benchmark Consulting's housing experience covers land development, low, medium, and high residential densities, ranging from high-end apartments, through to mixed-use, student and social housing. Our commercial experience covers office, retail, industrial, manufacturing, and aged care facilities, including large scale developments through to alterations and fitout works. Our institutional experience includes education, civic, university, and healthcare, including stand alone and campus projects.

Palmerston North Airport
Palmerston North Airport Limited (PNAL) are replacing the existing terminal with a new 5,000sqm terminal set to enhance operational efficiency with its innovative design and seismic upgrades, reflecting the region's commitment to future-proofing vital infrastructure. With a striking mass timber structure, the terminal will feature three distinct functional areas tailored to meet the needs of both passengers and operational requirements This development not only prioritizes safety but also embraces sustainability, ensuring a modern and efficient travel experience.
Benchmark's Role
Benchmark were initially engaged to undertake a mid stage review during the developed design process which then extended into a clients representatives role for PNAL with a focus on preconstruction.

Northwood Retirement Village
Located in Northwood Christchurch, the $220 million build is under way and will eventually be home to more than 350 residents. The village includes an indoor swimming pool and spa, library, bar, movie theatre, activities and crafts rooms, dining rooms, café, a hair salon and beauty therapy room.
The village also includes 60 rest home, hospital, and dementia care beds and is surrounded by 2.5ha of wetlands.

Riccarton Retirement Village
Located adjacent Riccarton Racecource in Christchurch, the development includes 200 independent living units including one, two-and three-bedroom apartments, and two and this also be 66 assisted-living serviced apartments, and 120 care beds covering rest home, hospital and special dementia care.
It includes an indoor swimming pool, a movie theatre, cafe, hair and beauty salons, a woodland forest walk, and spectator decks looking over Riccarton Racecourse.
